Plane of Air
When Hartzonell and Phaedra created magic and forged their divine powers, they eventually granted themselves the power of flight. The freedom and joy of flying was so pleasing to them, they wanted some of the mortal creatures they planned to create to be able to experience it as well, even if they could not use magic. Hartzonell created an element that was lighter than earth, and thinner than water, and forged the Plane of Air.
He allowed his wife Phaedra to take the first breath in the Cosmos, and she was overjoyed by the gift. She determined that all mortal things would be united in breath, and that most things would require air to live. Without the constant experience of breath, a mortal would pass on to a resting plane. It was in this way that the mortals to come would be united: if nothing else, than by breath.
The plane is an infinite expanse of open air. Oceanic spheres, bright stars, and floating islands exist at points where the plane has portals to the planes of water, fire, and earth, but otherwise the boundless sky is unbroken. An array of airborne creatures thrive all throughout the realm, and there was no better soul than the playful, lighthearted Aubi to rule over a place of such infinite freedom.
