Plane of Fire
Throughout the Void, things are constantly coming into and out of existence. Sometimes, flickers of light could be seen throughout the dark abyss of the Void. Hartzonell studied these flickers, and named them sparks. They were brief, and warm, and energetic. In one of his experiments, he forged a rod from the dust of the Void and held it to one of these sparks, and when he did, it created the first torch, and burned. He harnessed the substance, and created the fourth and final element: fire.
Fire seemed to harness the chaotic and destructive power of the void: it was unpredictable, it torn things apart, it turned water to air, sand to crystal, and air to soot. He determined that such an element could be useful to mortals who did not know magic, as it could be used to transform substances from one state to another. Unlike the dark, temperatureless chaos of the Void, however; fire was bright, warm, and comforting, and his mortals could use it for heat. He determined the element to be good natured, and crafted a plane of it.
The Plane of Fire is a realm of burning turmoil, the forge and furnace of the cosmos to fuel all heat in the multiverse, but scattered throughout are pockets of serene warmth and joyous light. Aar, angel of fire and warfare, was given domain of this realm.
