Council of Entities
The Council of Entities is the ruling body of Nexus . The 9 members, including the Emissary of Nexus make up the most brutal oligarchy in all of Creation. Individually and collectively, they write law and decrees called Civilities, so the governance of is in their hands.
The members of the Council are varied, ranging from mortals to spirits, to god-blooded or Exalted. Artisans, dockmasters, merchant prince, or just the indenpendent wealthy can all fill the list. Few ever go the job because of their parents, though some were the nieces and nephews of other Councilors.

THE AUGUST COUNCILOR OF THE ECLIPSE
This councilor is reponsible for the docks and waterways, and the collection of taxes on them. The current office.-holder is the former Harbor Master, Thalevar. He is after the Emissary the most regularly seen Councilor.MIDNIGHT QUEEN
Ephiselle now holds this office and oversees the throngs of infromants and spiels who watch Nexus for the Council. It is unlawful to write, sing or speak about her office within the city walls.THE DAWN SERGANT
Currently held by the woman Pellicia, she hires and commands the mercenary companies residing in Nexus and sees to the vity's overall defense.EVENING MASTER
Brueghel as the evening master now holds sway over the city's secret and public business. He maintains the city achieves and libraries and licenses all teachers and educational institutions in Nexus.MIDDAY HUSBAND
This is office is held by Hayle, who is in charge over artistic expression of public entertainment of the City, as well as the city's overall good health. Among other things, he monitors the sewer workers and hires entertainers for the theaters and the Plaza of Rebirth.MINISTER OF WAY
Master Gen examines the District Assayers who collect the city's taxes, tarrifs and duties.THE ASTROLOGER
Named Kratz, she is a woman of ostentatious tastes and strange behavior. Kratz has successfully predicted everything from famine and riot to sudden price shifts and bountiful harvests through her knowledge of the heavens, so the Council tolerates her extreme behavior.THE DOCTOR
Udelph allegedly speak of the city's ordinary folk. His Civilities end feus and promote harmony in the city. In practice however, the Doctor can be just as ruthless as his colleagues. On his orders, officials raze city blocks and exile families to prevent disease. Many compare him to the surgeon who recommends cutting over changes in diet or medication, who remands payment no matter if his patient lives or dies.THE EMISSARY
The most mysterious and powerful member of the council who has remained the original since RY 52. He has now come out and claimed the lordship over Nexus officially.
