Queen/Queen Regent
Known as the Woodwitch of Yefel, Nitram is the Queen of Bealutor and wife to Rowan Yiffnar the Cruel. She bore him 3 legitimate children, Efanah, Esther and Ethain, althought Ethain's parentage is highly in doubt.
In her youth, Nitram was trained with the wise women of the woods, learning herbal medicine and poison making. At the age of 15, she encountered Rodvil Tarnuval, when he was insured on a hunt through the forest. She nursed him back to health and fell deeply in love with him. However Rodvil refused Nitram's advances, saying famously "I cannot marry you, Child, for reasons that is my own. And where there no vow to bind be still, I am the Forest King of Druan and would not take a woodwitch to wife."
Furious at his rebuke, Nitram promised him she will be a Queen and she will see him beg for her forgiveness.
In the same year, Nitram seduced Rowan Yiffnar the Cruel and became Queen of Bealutor. She first helped her husband gain the most coveted throne, then manipulated her husband's dislike of the Tarnuvals to launch an attack against Druan. During the Sack of Druan, Nitram acompanied her husband and was said to have laughed as her husband brutally murdered Rodvil.
During her time as Queen, Nitram instigated for the King to sell off all his sisters, to remove her competitors and rivals. She would not have any unmarried women in the realm content for the favor of the king and would not see her daughters being seconds to anyone.
Nitram is extremely spiteful and ambitious, yet cunning and manipulative. In the same night her husband and bastard son were murdered, Nitram proclaimed that she was with child again. Months later, she gave birth to Ethain Yiffnar, who was immediately made king, with Nitram as Queen Regent.
When Marlekyle of Valka came to conquer Bealutor, Nitram surrendered, knowing that she could not win against this vast of a host. She intended to seduce Marlekyle himself, but when he refused her, she offered the hands of her daughters to him. At his refusal and appointment of Rowan's cousin as castellan, Nitram seduced the cousin as well.
Now, Nitram is at court in Arfalea, scheming to marry her eldest daughter to its ruler.
