Vulmar Raloris' Life
Vulmar was born on the 14th of Jumill in the year 11 CE. His father, the former Lord Raloris, died when he was 16. His older brother was the first to receive their father's former title. But by the time that Vulmar was 17, his older brother had died, passing the title onto him. A few years later, when he was 28, he made a deal with Emperor Erlan, promising Princess Elora's hand in marriage to him. Over the next few years after that, Vulmar and Princess Elora got to know each other more. By the time Elora turned 21, they had fallen in love and got married as soon as they could.
Vulmar and his wife tried for years to have children without success. Every pregnancy left to a miscarriage or stillbirth until the birth of their son Aldric on the 10th of Zura, 62 EC. Sadly, Princess Elora died giving birth to Aldric due to complications that arose during the birth. As she died, Vulmar held her in his arms, and she made him promise to keep their son alive no matter what. Vulmar carried out his wife's dying wish by raising his son to be a gentleman whom Elora would have been proud of. He also never married another woman after her death. When asked why, he would say that when his love left, she took half of his heart with her. And the only way he could get that half back was when he joined her in the ground. Vulmar joined her in the ground on the 8th of Crullin, 87 EC, when he died due to the Serpents Parasite.
