Ghyalx
Lord of the Hunt
Ghyalx is a demon lord turned God. He is commonly worshiped by Gnolls, a race of beings he created before his transcendence. Dedicated only to destruction, the Ruler of Ruin embodies everything Gnolls are. It's commonly believed Ghyalx was elevated to Godling status because the sheer amount of Gnolls worshiping him as the great hunter.
Due to this transcendence Ghyalx now embodies the aspects: "Hunting", "Companionship During Hardship" and "Striving for Achievements" as other beings than mortals who worshiped the new god equally shaped this god of the hunt, their less animalistic tendencies beings absorbed into the new god.
Ghyalx appears as a gnoll-like creature, with a pair of burning amber eyes atop a seemingly emaciated form. A mangy, yellow crest of fur reached from his head to mid-back, with the only hair on his body being small scabby patches. The rest of his body was pale and gray, his leathery hide contrasting with his taut mane and a crest of blackened spines within it. He is often depicted wielding a heavy maul.
The faith: Ghyalx' Cadre
Ghyalx embodies the long hunt. With many of his followers believing that little can escape the ways of their god, so they join in the bloody practice wherein one’s place is determined by their achievements. With the mentality that if one has chosen a goal, one should see it through till the end and that no worthy challenge should be refused. Mainly worshiped by hunters and those living on fringes of civilization this faith has earned a reputation of wild-men and savages.
