Xycros
The Harbinger of Woe
War has been part of the our existence for as long as their have been different civilizations, and during any war, people have question why. Oftentimes blaming their misery on some sort of war spirit. This eventually coalesced into a commo nly held belief and eventually Xycros came to be. His creation was heralded by a myriad of war breaking out, the lion share of which was directed the faltering Draconic Empire of Yore. This eventually led to the demise of this once glorious empire and heralded the age of man.
Xycros is the god of war, missery and discord. He revels in war and the destruction it brings, some believe he is merely the driving force which started any war, chalking up the monstrosities hereof on the fighter therein, but others believe he is the root cause of everything bad that comes from war. As a result, the faith of Xycros is considered most unwelcome in many larger settlements, most likely those that recently felt the destruction of war. But some deem war unavoidable, so it's better to appease Xycros, and hope the storm passed quickly. And in a few occasions, people activity worshipped Xycros, hoping to instill a war for a myriad of reasons.
