Yati Almawt

The Great Desert is the largest of it's kind on the entire disc of Cyrrin. So large that it encompasses an entire Province and spills further out into the five provinces around them as well. It is the the hottest place upon the disc and it is known for taking the lives of the inexperienced, the unwary,  or even simply the unlucky that find Uion as they cross the sun blasted sands. The creatures that call it home are all varied in nature from massive Sand Scorpions to packs of Dire Hyenas if the sun, heat, and lack of water don't finish off a traveler the 'scavengers' of that call Yati Almawt home will speed the process to their meal. The Desert Elves that originally called it home learned many tricks to survive in the desert and have passed those along to those that have come to join them in the shifting sands of Al Ramlia. Thankfully for the other Provinces Yati Almawt only gets more dangerous as you go in leaving them for what passes for safe in the dunes.
