Wandering Bazaar

The fabled mighty Trade City that is the Wandering Bazaar travels across the Yati Almawt with ease even with it's immense size. Legend says that it was crafted by the first Emir  of the Desert Elves as a way of protecting them but slowly it became bought out by Traders as the land around it became the united Sraebadan Empire. Now what were once guard towers drag along through the air beside it as homes for the Traders that call it home. A vast bazaar where nearly anything can be found was built upon it's back and now when they wish to set up for commerce the golem digs it's way into the sand to leave them as normal as the next town.    Many travelers from foreign lands have been left confused and often terrified when they can't find that same Bazaar again believing it wiped from the world. The shifting sands make the foot steps of the city seem to be nothing more then more then the flow of sand through the desert.

Demographics

The city is mostly made up of about half traders looking to make it rich on the moving city getting to trade across the many lands that reach into the Yati Almawt. The other half are mostly military and mercenary folk that have taken up caretaking for the city.

History

Originally a force meant to protect the Empire there was little that was needed of it once all the land around it became the land of family. Slowly the military started letting traders buy stakes and space to operate to offset the cost of the construct that wasn't doing it's primary function anymore. Eventually they agreed to turn over much of it to the Traders but left a sizable force behind to ensure that it was never commandeered by unsavory folk. To the Traders it seemed like built in protection and a rather profitable partnership began that day that has never since been shaken.
