Cysian Realm

Cysian is a populous realm, filled with people and Magic. Still new in its birth, the realm is still going through the beginning of its journey through the stages of development. With basic writing, early language, basic systems of time, and only the beginning traces of government, it still has a long way to go before reaching peak technology.

Summary

World

The world, the land alone, is filled with all aspects of life. From the peaks of the mountains to the bottom of the seas. A vast difference in the land led to vast differences across the world. The magic of the realm has spread to fill the fluora and fauna of the land.

Geography

The unique formation of the land led to mountains towering in the sky and caves filled with creatures of all forms. There are deserts that cross the land, peninsulas filled with emptiness. Islands fill the empty ocean and tundra freezes the North. Iron forests tower hundreds of feet into the sky. Moons circle the sky, lighting the land golden and silver. Each aspect of the geography adds to the world, cementing it as its own world.

History

The history of Cysian is filled with Magic, mystery, and evolution. 3000 years began humankind, leaving an unmeasurable impact on the people of the land. Filled with events lost to time, no record of the past can be concluded. In the 350 years since history has been recorded. Development and events of all sorts recorded by the Historian's Guild to be remembered for all of the rest of time.

Eras

Through all of time, two eras have clearly arisen. The era of common life and recorded history. Following the rise of the supreme guilds and the Nomadic Restructuring. The era, the beginning of all time, referred to as the Nomadic Era, spanned 3 millennia filled with evolution and growth as humans. However, as Magic grew the culture began to change and writing lead to the decade-spanning turmoil and shift between eras.

The Nomadic Restructuring

The Nomadic Restructuring, given a date of occurrence only for the beginning of the Common Era. It is known for following the move between crossing the land freely and settling down to begin growing. It led to the large development of empires and government that grew in the 350 years since the eras changed.

Magic

Magic is the foundation of all aspects of the world. Build up from before the beginning of time. Used by the people of Cysian, it can be applied to all forms. The Mage's Guild built up the main knowledge of Magic and discovered the 9 Laws that dictate the usage of Magic. Unifying the Mages across the land, the Mage's Guild provides opportunities for jobs and hold contests between Mages of all levels and skills to entertain the Mage's when they are leaving the people of Cysian to their own devices. Magic itself is controlled by 9 Laws and the 9 Types of Magic, limiting how Magic itself can be used.

Mages

Mages are the users of Magic. Each born with a unique ability to cast a single type of Magic as a different scale, they are the most powerful people of the land. Each a part of the large Mage's Guild, they travel the land helping out where needed. However, their population is still small, only ever reaching 200 thousand Mages, out of the nearly 100 million people alive, to help out around the large expanse of Cysian. Many spend their time restructuring the land while others provide entertainment to those around them. Mages serve a variety of purposes for the people and land of Cysian, though many merely participate in their own communities within the Mage's Guild. Often, by the guilds' rules, they merely step into the world where they are needed to help where needed.
