Church of the Enigmatic Core
The followers of the Church of the Enigmatic Core believed that there was a god-construct in the center of Dali'en, that formed the many layers of our planet around itself and knew the answers to everything.
Disbandment
The religion has been disproved by the existence of the Seven Hells, but it took centuries to fully die out.
Mythology & Lore
The enigmatic core is an all-knowing construct of an ancient age that is calling us towards itself to explain its great tale. So we must dig deeper, and get as close as we can.
Divine Origins
First it started out as a way to explain the gravitational force of Dali'en. Antaar quickly adopted the religion to urge its citizen to build the Hellevator project (it was named something different, we had no knowledge of hells then), and it ended up sticking and evolving in the progress.
Cosmological Views
Our universe has died once, but the enigmatic core remained, and it rebuilt it around itself. According to its teachings, the entire universe revolves around Dali'en, and it's not Dali'en that revolves around the Sun (which was proven false by science, but it's still widely believed by the church's followers).
Tenets of Faith
They encouraged learning and physical labor (mining). A true disciple is one that works hard both physically and mentally for that is how they really learn.
Worship
Songs during digging and mining. Their rituals often involved stomping the ground to a beat, which filled their tunnels with dust and often scared threats away.
Granted Divine Powers
None, but the strongest believers became Paladins.
DISBANDED/DISSOLVED
Civilizations may come and go, but the Core remains eternal
