Antaar (ɒntɒːr)

Antaar was once known as a technological powerhourse that has dug themselves a way into the Underdark and Hell's Gate. They are an isolated nation that's faded into obscurity since.  

Structure

Antaar is a dual-governed nation. The military and the Hellevator is under the juristiction of the Commander, while the Plutocrats of Barrek take care of inner politics.   ORGANIZATION CHART NOT AVAILABLE

History

Even though they might seem hostile, they have always been welcoming of everyone, be it any species - to join and find sanctuary in their land. Their historical significance lies in building the Hellevator and discovering Hell's Gate.   They lost most of their population and settlements during the earthquake of 1433 in the Age of Ruanon; prior of which they were a loose federation of Sanctuary, Goblinhold, and Barrek (joined by the Generals of Aengate and Hellevator) that was led by a circle of Plutocrats.

They are as varied as can be, and their society is highly capitalistic.

Military

Most of their military consists of Mercenary companies that are hired when needed and let go when not.

Religion

They used to practice their own religion in the past, but have adapted since.
