History

The site where the Sanctum now stands was originally a sprawling production facility built during the era before the Fall. It was intended for mass andriod production and storage. The building featured traditional stone and metalwork with large, open spaces for the production line. Its design reflected the grandeur and ambition of its creators, with intricate machines and vast, high-ceilinged rooms.
As necromancy became a dominant force within Necropolis, the facility was repurposed to serve the growing needs of the Necrotic Custodians. This transition marked the beginning of its transformation into the Sanctum of the Undying. Significant modifications were made to accommodate the new functions the building would serve. Laboratories for necromantic research, breeding chambers, and high-security perimeters were established. The building was fortified with reinforced materials and imbued with protective wards.
