The Hamlet of Inverness

One of the early pillars of the kingdom, now left mostly abandoned as much of the area holds little wealth as compared by The Desert of Winds and only few people still live in this area. 
Currently, about (35 WIP) people reside in the hamlet, with most people working as miners in the nearby mine. Once many mines littered the foothills, but the constant threats from the mountain as well as the reduced interest in the area as a whole has resulted in all but one of these mountains to be abandoned. Who knows, many of these mines might hold treasure and secrets for those with the will and capital to invest. 
Also, the town was home to many more, upwards of 150, which the hamlet and surrounding area could easily support, if people would be interested in joining. 
It's close proximity to the Royal Wasteland as well the mountain ridge north of it has resulted in many dangers, but one with ancient roots and many hidden treasures which are left abandoned by most.
