Ash has a short, plump build.
Two others– Sarah and Ash– stood beside him, best friends who couldn’t be any more opposite. Ash, sweet as sugar, was bottle blonde and plump like a fresh plum, with a round, gentle face and eyes a close match to Micah’s in colour and softness. She wore bright colours, mainly pinks, and was never seen anywhere in any weather without her leopard-print uggs. She was the only one of the group who was shorter than Micah, but not by much.

Ash is one of the members of The Zephyr Coders at the QE-STEM College. She did her A-levels in Computer Games & Animation alongside Psychic, Matthew Clagg, and Sarah Wilkinson.
Book 1: Prologue
“Where’s the Moustaches?” Micah whispered to Matty, who glanced at the empty seats. Before he could answer, Ash leaned over from her seat, whispering conspiratorially.Ash is introduced alongside Matty and Sarah before Psychic is taken into the Sanctuary for the Gifted Child. She's one of Psychic's best friends, and has conspiracy theorist tendencies- being the first to bring up the Sanctuary.
“They weren’t in yesterday either,” she said. “Or the day before. Word on the street? Chloe has P-O-W-E-R-S.”
“What?” Matty gasped. “There’s no way…”
“Apparently a bunch of soldiers went to her house late at night. Guns, big tanks, everything. Kicked in the door, dragged her out and whisked her away to a Sanctuary. Teachers can’t say jack nor shit about it– bet you if anyone asks, they’ll just say she’s ill, or that she transferred.”
