Kindorla

After the original Kinmet and Kinhundul were constructed, they were used as the basis for constructing ten Kindorla at the Royal Forge and Smith. Each Kindorla is a round disk with a diameter equal to the width of tu (2) Kinhundul (0.72 in, 1.83 cm) and a thickness of yat syodul (1/4) of yat Kinhundul (0.09 in, 0.23 cm). Each of the ten Kindorla weighs exactly the same, and together, the ten Kindorla weigh exactly the same as one Kinhundul. All of the Kindorla are made of silver plated with gold. Each is numbered, 1 to 10, and engraved with the mark of the Royal Forge and Smith. The Kindorla were distributed to the Royal Mints at Daskar and Southport and are used for verifying the weight of Dorla produced at the Royal Mints.

History

Like the Kinmet, Kinhundul, Kintundul, the Kindorla were forged, minted, plated, and engraved by the grandmother of Laesa Silverbraid at the Royal Forge and Smith in Daskar in response to the decree by King Haakan Larssen, Royal Establishment of Weights, Measures, and Currencies for the Kingdom of Sudland.

Significance

The Kindorla are used to establish the weight of the currency of Sudland, so they are invaluable.
