I always did.Vici is a Human Chimere . He is currently employed by the Sillevur Adventurers' Guild, and he maintains a relationship with his family in Véret.
Vici has been working as a solo adventurer for the past year. While he is still new and unskilled, he doesn't mind picking up the low-level quests that most adventurers pass over, so he is nearly able to support himself on his own despite being unable to take higher-paying quests. What he remains in need of, he receives from his mother, who has been supporting him in his attempt to make a full career of adventuring.
In order to reduce his reliance on his family, Vici can be found doing quests almost constantly. Despite the low challenge of the majority of his work, the sheer quantity of quests Vici takes on would overwhelm most adventurers, and he can often be found boasting about this fact or about any higher-level quests he takes on.
Despite his ego, Vici's main motivation for adventuring is that he genuinely enjoys helping people—bragging rights are just the cherry on top. It's possible that this is why he can withstand the constant, back-to-back, low-level quests—the energy he gets from the act of service outweighs what he expends to carry it out.
Unfortunately, Vici's desire to help and to assume good in people can lead him to be overtrusting, even with clear signs to the contrary. He's been swindled several times before by questgivers with less-than-savory intentions, and without outside intervention it's likely he would have been hurt, arrested, or even killed in the past.
Vici often enjoys the company of an adventuring party that joined the Sillevur Guild a year before him as a preestablished party, but despite their closeness, they have yet to invite him to join. Vici claims it's fine as he prefers to work alone, but his demeanor tends to suggest otherwise.

I know I haven't reached out since the whole... thing with Coriil. Sorry about that, but a lot of things came up that I'm not sure I can talk about yet. Anyway, I talked to Guildmaster Ives and he said you guys left a couple weeks ago? What's that about? Where'd you go—Sillevur quests not exciting enough? :)
Seriously, though, I feel kind of bad for not at least trying to talk to you sooner. Hopefully this letter reaches you, and you can send one back once you get it. Can't wait to hear what you've been up to—and I've got some stories of my own for once, too!

Vici fights with a pair of wooden tonfa that collapse into boxes. As he lacks fine manual control, they attach to his arms with cords which are stored in one of the boxes. They are enchanted to strengthen them, making them as sturdy as a solid piece of wood despite being hollow.
Vici has owned two identical pairs of tonfa. The first was gifted to him by Lkiuer and broken in a fight against a dungeon. The second was purchased in Verresel.
