Glass Spine Needle

A Poplar Grit spine is attached by a rubber gasket to a glass cylinder in which a rubber plunger is depressed. This new advance has allowed doctors and tinkerers to acuratly dispense liquid into the veins and and muscle of animals. Thus allowing a more accurate way of giving fluids intravenously.   In the 3900's United Delfic States healers experimented with using spines to dispense liquids into the veins of animals. They attached the spines to a rubber bladder and got inconsistent results.   In 4594 Debon Trager invented the Glass Spine Needle by attaching a Spine to a glass syringe powered by a rubber plunger. This allowed him to finely control how much liquid was dispensed. In 4501 he showed that injecting Poplar Grit into an animal could cause it to become sedated. He even tested it on himself and found that it induced a sense of pain free euphoria. He named this substance Poplem.
