Arthropod

Arthropod are an ethnicity of a wide variety of Monimal characterized usually by a hard exoskeleton, multiple limbs, and diminutive size compared to other ethnicities. They are a small but very diverse group with some variants numbering only in the thousands or hundreds. Traditionally they have been persecuted and dismissed by others and it is rare to see someone of this ethnicity in higher societal positions or mated outside the group. They usually get by in the form of small, close knit but homogeneous groups scattered planet wide.

In contrast to their terrestrial cousins the exception to the segregation is the amphibious members, who have enjoyed greater integration and positive relations to the related Fishfolk of X-Planet.
