X-Planet
Geography
The surface of the planet is mostly covered in water. Large continents make up the rest of the surface area with small islands dotted across the surface, making up the rest. Climes of X-Planet are somewhat peculiar in that the coldest and hottest regions are not at the caps or equator but situated on the western and southern hemisphere respectively. There are 4 major landmasses on the planet with similar geography, however the Eastern Continent is almost completely covered by Monimal-made city and thus its natural geography has been lost for likely many centuries. On the northern continent, it is mostly temperate and covered with lush jungles and small lakes. In the center, there exist tall highlands. The Southern Isles is much smaller and has many islands surrounding it. Here, the temperature is usually much warmer and rain is frequent. Their features usually adorned with wet jungles or rocky bluffs. The Western Continent is the largest and is home to extremely tall and rough mountain ranges, and frequently trapped in polar vortexes. As such, the temperature here drops to possibly the coldest on the planet most days of the year, however the coastal tundras are comparatively much warmer to the center mountains that lie in the epicenter of the frequent ice storms.
Fauna & Flora
Though lush and fertile, X-Planet is unprecedented in its lack of non-sentient fauna on the planet. The only species that exist at all are the intelligent Monimals. Flora is abundant and is home to many species however including the staple crop Monimal have relied on since time immemorial to craft most of their food. Vast swaths of the surface area is dedicated to this crop.
