Personal history

The lastborn child of Emperor Cosmos, Aster-Fuschia was always going to end up alone. Not only was he destined to leave the palace and his family at age twelve, but he was born blind, a condition that the people of Strunheald, and The District of Tsaraknit at large, did not care much for. The kingdom was set up to contain those with deafness, but blindness was a whole other beast. At first Aster-Fuschia tried to bond with his next-older brother Zircon, but it quickly became clear that he wanted nothing to do with his family. Instead, Ruby became a bastion of strength for little Aster-Fuschia, supporting him and playing with him when he needed attention. They became very close. Ruby even suggested that there was some hope that they could remain friends after Aster-Fuschia left the palace, though they would no longer be considered family. The two of them spent many a evening planning for how they would pull this off. But when Aster-Fuschia did turn twelve, he found that there were few jobs that a blind young man could do. It wasn't long before he found himself on the streets, alone, cold, and starving. He had only regrets as he passed, knowing that his favorite brother Ruby was still at the palace while Aster-Fuschia died alone.

Sundrop was grieved deeply by her son's death. She moved on for the sake of her family and her people, but a piece of her soul will always be with Aster-Fuschia.

History

Ruby and Aster-Fuschia were close ever since Aster-Fuschia had learned to walk. They did everything together- played soldiers in the garden, made pictures, annoyed Zircon- they really loved each other. But when Aster-Fuschia was thrown out on his twelth birthday, Ruby never saw him again, and he soon pieced together from his parents' arguing that Aster-Fuschia was dead. He mourned his brother bitterly.

History

Zircon and Aster-Fuschia were never particularly close. Though he knew it was selfish, Zircon was angry that his brothers loved each other and not him. His mind roiled with contempt, though he kept it in check in front of his father, and Ruby, whom he knew he could not scorn. Finally when he was twelve years of age, Zircon left. It was not long after that when Aster-Fuschia turned twelve, and he soon died out on the streets. Zircon doesn't know.
