When Aster-Fuschia turned twelve, as per Fae practice, he was sent out on his own by his father. But Aster-Fuschia was a blind boy, and he did not last long out there. Sundrop was grieved deeply by her son's death. She moved on for the sake of her family and her people, but a piece of her soul will always be with Aster-Fuschia.
History
Ever since he was a boy, Zircon knew his ultimate fate: that he would not be a part of the family, and would instead go out on his own, to join the military and fight for his people. So when his mother, Sundrop, attempted to forge a relationship with him, Zircon blew her off. He never let her in his head or his heart, though she always loved him dearly. Finally when he left, he put Sundrop out of his mind. But she did not put him out of hers.
