Battle at Fleet Street

The Battle at Fleet Street was a superpowered battle fought in April 2023 in Cape St. Joan at Fleet Street near the nothern edge of The Gutters. A fight between local rogue team The Nymphs and recently formed vigilante group Disequilibria, it was the first combat encounter with other supers for the latter.

The Conflict

Deployment

The Nymps, for reasons so far unknown, attacked a local gold buy & sell shop in Fleet Street. Chasing off the owner, they occupied the building. Disequilibria (in reduced numbers due to the absence of Astraeus) learned of this incident while listening in on Police Radio and closed in on the store.
After encountering Stalker Girl in front of the store, Black Cat attacked the thinker in presence of Ceto , planning to arrest her.

The Engagement

Vandal destroyed the roof of the building Ceto was perched upon, forcing the hydrokinetic to use her powers to not injur herself in the fall, occupying her for a moment. Stalker Girl was stunned by use of a taser.
Ishtar moved to attack, but Vandal intercepted her, leaving Black Cat to fend against Stalker Girl and the invisible Umbra. Ceto eventually rejoined the battle against Disequilibria's Brute.
Stalker Girl was knocked out shortly afterwards, which after a few more exchanges of blows prompted Ishtar to call for a pause to the battle to negotiate. Upgrade did not join the fight at any point.

Outcome

The battle saw the Nymph's plans to engage the Network in combat thwarted, as they revealed the store had been run by an ally of the local drug ring, though their reasons for moving against them remained unknown.
Black Cat successfully negotiated for Upgrade's services in exchange for the release of the unconscious Stalker Girl, handing the Tinker her taser to upgrade despite warnings from Umbra.
In the wake of the battle, Ceto and Vandal also shared a quick conversation, leaving them on slightly awkward but friendly terms.
