Ciathan Zhygorn is a politician and aristocrat who serves as the current Doge of the city of Twinford.
Ciathan was the first Doge of Twinford to enact a progressive tax system as a means of weakening the calls to end the monarchy by Twinford's working class. While this policy had the desired effect, it angered many of the aristocracy and even members of his own family. In spite of enacting equitable policies that have led to a dramatic rise in the average standard of living in Twinford, Ciathan is at heart a hardline traditionalist and wields his power over the Violet Brigade to suppress public demonstrations and arrest anyone who speaks out against the monarchy.

General Physical Condition
The middle-aged dragonborn stands with a regal posture, keeping his silvery chin held high whether he's speaking to the tallest giant or the shortest gnome. What looks like a beard from a distance are actually thick whiskers that hang from a square draconic muzzle, with silvery fins sticking out on either side of his head and shining silver spines rolling down the back of his scalp. His scales are a mixture of gold and silver that betray his mixed heritage, though depending on the angle it can be hard to tell where one color ends and the other begins. The Si'draken wears fine silk underclothes beneath a tailored leather brocade jacket adorned with the sash of his station and epaulets that denote his command over the Violet Brigade. On one hip he wields the ceremonial golden rapier of House Zhyg'auril while on the other hip he has sheathed the holy platinum dagger of House Ornable. His claws and tail are adorned with various rings and other jewelry.
