Kyrenic Redgrave
Kyrenic was born into House d'Medani, a dragonmarked house known for their mastery of the Mark of Detection. However, Kyrenic was never truly interested in following in his family's footsteps. He was always more interested in the stories his elven mother would tell him about the forests and creatures of the world. As he grew older, Kyrenic became more and more fascinated with the natural world and eventually left his family's house to become a druid.
It was during his time as a druid that Kyrenic met Mara, a human artificer and former member of House d'Cannith. The two fell in love despite the fact that their respective houses would never approve of their union. They kept their relationship a secret for as long as they could, but eventually they were discovered and banished from their houses.
With nowhere else to turn, Mara and Kyrenic struck out on their own, determined to make a life for themselves outside of the confines of the dragonmarked houses. They settled in a small village on the outskirts of Sharn and started a family, raising their children to embrace both their elven and human heritages.
Despite the hardships they faced, Mara and Kyrenic remained deeply in love until the end of their days. Their relationship may have been forbidden, but it was also a testament to the power of love and the strength of their individual spirit's.
