Aarakocra

“Eagle's flight of loneliness soars so high
Around its sigh, no more alone the sky
Other birds remain away, clouds pass by
Between shrouds of life and haze sun rays die”

Aarakocra, as one of the Amilakra, are sentient animals, and in this case, eagles. Looking exactly as such, but a bit bigger, upright and a little more humanoid. They are honor driven creatures that long for meaningful, helpful lives and often find themselves in the positions of guards, soldiers, scouts or explorers, for the X, as this is their realm and they have long positioned themselves with the high elves.

Racial traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1. Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet. Flight. You have a flying speed of 50 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor. Talons. You are proficient with your unarmed strikes, which deal 1d4 slashing damage on a hit. Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Aarakocra, and Auran.
