Spirit Gate

The Spirit gate is a magical artifact that, when given the offering of a higher soul (dragon/ higher vampire/ lesser God/ Angel/ etc), will allow the commune between two individuals. One of which is a living being and the other is someone whom has died and who has a soul that is lost. It materialises the lost soul into their body. The two individuals will then be able to meet each other again. If the living member of the commune is a lesser soul, the gates will implode and decimate the demi-plane it is in. The gates require a chain of contact. If a higher soul touches it and is in contact with another higher soul, the one not touching the gate is used as the sacrifice. If, however, the soul touching the gate is higher and the sacrifice is not higher the gates will implode. If the one touching the gate brings a higher sacrifice but is, themselves, not higher, they will be able to commune but the gates will still implode.
