The Betrayal
Acting upon information given by Enzo Yellen, the agent of Iustus known as Otis Heydrich entered the cave, the cave of operations for Kelemvors Guard
At first, the Guard did not realise who he was. He spoke the words "You are the unlucky few to remain home today, this is not how you deserve to die. I will attempt to make this fast. Do not fight back."
He hurled demonic flames towards the group, Lirizal attempted to counter but the power of the half-demon was too much. He struck her with a highly charged spell, breaking her ribs. She began to choke on her own blood, he turned her to ash as she sobbed in silence, unable to speak as blood filled her lungs. The Orc warrior Mendar charged him, being slung back and breaking his arm. The loyal hound Brutus clamped his teeth on his leg, receiving a a kick so hard he whimpered for help. Help never came. Otis moved forward and stabbed Mendar again, he tried as hard as he was able. He fought valiantly. It was not enough.
Finally Madam Steel fought the man, she received a blast of fire. Otis assumed her deceased once she was hurled into a wall.
He lifted Brutus and left with the dog.
