Elza Daelus (El-Zah Day-less)
Grand Cleric Elza Zephyr Daelus
Elza Daelus is the current Grand Cleric of the Holy Church and as such is considered to be the ruler of Triswell and the Central Rings. She is the fourth Grand Cleric of the 5th Age, and assumed the position after the death of Grand Cleric Ozan Opaltongue in 5A259.
Her teachings are focused on the dangers of indifference, that no action is often just as bad if not worse than a wrong action. To this end, she has been an open advocate in support of both the Adventurers' and Mages' guilds. She also has been liberal in the use of the paladin orders as a militant arm of the Holy Church.
She joined the priesthood at the age of 16 and ascended to cleric at 20.
She has a daughter, Jhekori Daelus, who is a cleric who works as a tax-collector and assessment agent for the Holy Church.
