Gods of Chaos

The Gods of Chaos is - true to its name - a loose categorization of Gods or God-like beings that dwell within the Chaos known as Primordials that dwell below the Great Disc. They are not a formal pantheon nor do they even all work together, but because they all reside within the Chaos, they are grouped together. Some Primordials are quite recent in the cosmic sense, such as Lolth who was a Ela'dro Empress who performed a blood rite to ascend to Primordial status, and some are said to have existed before the formation of the Great Disc, such as the Archomentals who serve as the ever warring rulers of the elemental planes.   While it's common to believe that the Gods of Chaos directly oppose the Gods of Order, it's not always the case. The Elder Elemental is a God that is aligned with both Order and Chaos for one example. However, the Gods of Chaos are individuals with their own individual goals and designs. Because of this some are bound to come into conflict with the Gods of Order.   The symbol of the Gods of Chaos is a number of swirls in a repeating pattern within a circle. This is meant to represent the swirling Chaos below the Disc. Though this symbol is not really used by those who follow one of the Gods of Chaos, it is more often used by the Holy Church to represent the other side of the Disc.   Some of the Gods of Chaos include:
