Primordial Cults
Rarer even than Elemental Worship are those that seek out the strongest denizens of the Chaos - The Primordials - whose power is said to rival that of the Elder Elemental. Cults worshiping these monstrous beings in hopes of gaining power and privilege from the great terrors can sprout up anywhere and at any time. Their worshipers will often call them ‘The Old Gods’ or ‘The True Masters’ claiming that their dominion was usurped by the Gods.
The practice has fallen out of favor and is often viewed as 'Evil' in the Lower Realms after the events of the Night of Fallen Ashes where a primordial cult of gnolls from the Southern Wilds laid siege to the kingdom and brought about its downfall and the end of the Third Age.
