The Primeval Pantheon

The Primevals, also called the Primordials, are gods to some and monsters to others. It is said they were the first living things, though it is a subject for debate if their existence can truly be described as living at all. They are as old as the world, or older, and each holds dominion over one of the elemental domains. That is with the exception of Primus, the Dragon of Time, chief of the Primevals, and keeper of balance. Even among the impossibly strong Primevals, Primus is the strongest. Each of their desires is too wide reaching, and their plots too time spanning, too vast to comprehend. If they have true names for themselves or one another, they are unknown to any mortal tongue. But one thing is certain: this is their world, we simply live in it.
