Arkynish Ethnicity in Legends of the Dragonguard | World Anvil

Summer Camp (prep) event is going on right now!

Arkynish

The inhabitants of the region known as Arkynshire are referred to as Arkynish, and as a result, their language is too. Ancient Dragonkin born in this region do not have a distinct dialect or ancient language of their own, unlike humans who often have unique linguistic variations and historical languages specific to their culture.   During the tryanny of the Wyrm of Chaos and the Draconian War, many people were displaced from this area, fleeing up north to Drakemyst or to the west to Emberland. Even there they found it difficult to flee from the Wyrm of Chaos' influence, and some even fled as far as Ravia where they took refuge near the Shatterscale Mountains.
