West-Óltrat
West-Óltrat is the northwesternmost Mörkel kingdom on the Plain of Kings, bordering Yfrigía to the south and East-Óltrat to the southeast.
Its capital is Aþalan in the southern part of the country.
Óltrat was a major power on the western Plain of Kings after the fall of Eila'togía, along with the Banfír dynasty in modern Banfirda to the south, and for much of its history the two kingdoms waged a number of proxy wars over control of the tribes inhabiting what is now East-Óltrat.
The Tosleþais also built a number of towers, forts and ditches along Óltrat's border with the Plain of Spirits to defend themselves from Knárs, an early form of what would later develop into the Vörlak Wall, a near continuous line of fortifications serving the same purpose between Ett River to the west and Ellú River to the east.
In 385 a.Dr, a new dynasty rose to power in Óltrat after Dúrúgrik, last direct descendant of Korgit I, died during from a plague. The Leþúrí dynasty ruled much the same as the last one until 530 a.Dr, when it was invaded by Fógrik III, king of Yfrigía. Though weakened after a recent war with Banfirda, Óltrat's queen, Eherkúsea, managed to resist Yfrigía's forces for six years and inflict a mortal wound to their king before she was slain.
Modern West-Óltrat emerged after the Yfrigían Empire fell into a civil war during the eight century, and is the most prosperous of the four successor states due to trade with the Ameders beyond the plains to the north. Its current monarch is Erkúsea II.

This region -along with what is now Yfrigía- was the first to be settled by early Mörkels, and has some of the oldest settlements on the Plain of Kings.
