Common Myths and Legends
The patron deity of the feirans is Leþa Sarúþí, a fertility goddess associated with an ancient stone statue of a woman holding a bundle of grain, which stands by Ett River. Pregnant women in particular visit the statue to offer libations, hoping that it'll ensure their baby will be healthy.
