Chieftain Eonan
The Chieftain of the Elian people and of Sun's First Grace is often found within the Chieftain's Perch doing one of three things: (a) chasing her adopted children through the upper levels, (2) staring straight ahead, lost deep in through while upon her perch, or (3) comfortably seated upon her pillow sipping nectar-sweetened tea as she discusses personal or city affairs with a friend or with the people at large.
Eonan is a middle-aged, relatively small aarakocra, though she may not look her age. One year ago, Eonan was elected to the role of Chieftain due to her generally warm, sunny disposition... but also for her firm stance on the situation at the fringes of the Anwar-Dai. While willing to negotiate, she is unwilling to accept any deal or terms that may force the Elian people to give more than they already have. Their lands and culture have been encroached upon enough by the greedy technological machine growing in the Neg'Varos Bay.
Like most Elians, Eonan is initially distrustful of outsiders, but she is well-versed in hiding that in an attempt to give all the benefit of the doubt. Still, she is not willing to just let anybody begin the sacred tradition of earning braids.
