Notable Events
Just as the trial of
Congress members Cato and Salvius was beginning Salvius assasinated by someone shooting arrows from high-up window. In the resulting panic Cathan tackled the escaping Cato, accidentally taking an arrow for him and saving his life. The assassin escaped before the heroes could catch them, but they were able to discern the path this person took with the help of a bird and a halfling who happened to witness the culprit. Cato was thrown back into his cell and after some threats from Cathan and angry questioning from Hope only revealed that kidnapping elves and half-elves were "the orders" and nothing else.
Head Priest Theodorus and the prosecutor agreed that this constituted a confession and since he was a dangerous target his sentence would be carried out in the morning despite Cathan's insistence that he would do it sooner.
