Siftsi (Sift-see)
(a.k.a. Çiftçi)
Siftsi is the god of harvest, food, and agriculture and is seen as the arable equivelant of Beygir.
Description
Siftsi is depicted as a somewhat tanned male humanoid farmer, and being particularly shown as a halfling. His age varies in each depiction, sometimes Siftsi is shown as a young man in his 20s (human age), although this can range through till a more fatherly age of 40s+ (human age).Religion
Siftsi is worshipped as part of the Harmonious Covenant, the only male member of the pantheon. He was invariably worshipped by farmers and cooks. Private land owners and destitute farmers (perhaps as a consequence of an unproductive harvest) prayed to Siftsi for any divine suggestions for aiding the harvest. If at any time plague or drought struck the crops, farmers looked to Siftsi, since they hoped he would save the harvest, due to his love of crops. The celebration of Siftsi is usually held on the 16th of Waning and is known as Last Harvest. That being said, the festival is frequently shifted based on when the last harvest before winter is cultivated in that particular part of the world - falling between the middle of Deepfall and the middle of Frosting.Alignment: Neutral Good
