Ms. Lilith Asmodaiya is the mother of the Resarcher Bryseis Asmodaiya and warlock Rieta Asmodaiya, as well as their older brother Damakos Asmodaiya.

Personal history
Ms. Lilith Asmodaiya is a direct descendant of the first Lilith Asmodaiya, who was one of the Toril Thirteen. She, as (almost) all Asmodaiyas who are not naturally inclined to the use of magic, is a powerful warlock of Asmodeus, choosing to specialize primarily in fiendology. She is highly renowned, almost to the point of fame, for her knowledge and abilities when it comes to devils, demons, and other fiends, and is highly revered for her skills not just among tieflings, but to the general public at large of Baldur’s Gate. Her skills were what originally brought the family to Baldur’s Gate, at the behest of a very wealthy Baldurian tiefling (pretty much the only one) who wanted to open a school exclusively for tiefling youth, considering the racism that tieflings tend to experience even in a large, cosmopolitan city such as Baldur’s Gate. Ms. Asmodaiya spends most of her time teaching various topics (fiendology, summoning, magical control for sorcerers, tiefling history, etc.) at the school, and acting as a consultant for anyone who would seek counsel on matters regarding fiends. All of her children were educated at the school, and before she left for Waterdeep, her youngest daughter Rieta helped teach some of the classes there. While the school is located in the Outer City, as that is where most tieflings live in Baldur’s Gate, the Asmodaiya family lives in the Lower City, in one of the nicer neighborhoods. While they are not wealthy, the income from Ms. Asmodaiya’s vocations keeps the family comfortable.

Ms. Lilith Asmodaiya is employed as a teacher at the Baldur's Gate School for Tieflings in Baldur's Gate, where she teaches a host of topics. She also sells her services as an expert fiendologist and consultant on matters abyssal, infernal, and otherwise fiendish.
Morality & Philosophy
Ms. Asmodaiya strongly believes that devils should stay in hell where they belong, but at least you can take a devil at their word. She absolutely abhors demons and where the Blood War is concerned, she hopes for the decimation of the demonic hordes. Aside from her interest in keeping tabs on fiendish matters, she tends to follow her whims. She has a strong dedication to children, especially tiefling children.

Motivation
Lilith's primary motivation is to expand Asmodeus' presence on Toril, while simultaneously keeping rogue fiends from causing too much trouble and bringing too much attention. Other motivations include building stronger community among tieflings and influencing tiefling youth, and preventing the death and destruction that tends to follow in the wake of invading fiends.

She has a strained relationship with her daughter Bryseis, as she is very disappointed that Bryseis turned her back on becoming a warlock of Asmodeus, especially after all of her hard work preparing her. Bryseis' memory problems also cause her concern. She looks upon Rieta with pride as the good daughter who will follow in her footsteps, as she and every Asmodaiya had previously on back to her namesake, the first Lilith Asmodaiya. She is quite pleased and proud, but surprised and doesn't quite understand, why Asmodeus has taken such a personal interest in her children. She worries deeply about her son Damakos, whom she hasn't seen in almost ten years and had no idea if he was alive or dead until she received word from him recently.
Religious Views
It is unclear if Lilith truly worships Asmodeus, but she serves him in exchange for his favor, and does what she can to extend his reach, as she considers it a high honor to be directly related to him. He has influenced her such that if she had to chose a side to win the Blood War, she would side with Asmodeus and his devils.

A combination of warm and polite, yet stern, Ms. Lilith Asmodaiya exudes presence and confidence. She is very charismatic, and many are charmed just by conversing with her. It's as if she knows exactly what to say just when to say it.
