Ser Jonas McGrager Flinn- vi Dracul

Jonas McGrager vi Dracul Flinn, a distant cousin of the main Dracul vampiric blood line of Avalon. Born, simply Jonas McGrager, he was the third son of a noble adjacent family in the territory of the northern swamps of Dracul in the waning years of the 13th dance. Under any other circumstances Jonas would have simply lived out his life as a minor human lord, acting as a servant to his older brother who in turn would be acting as the mortal face for their eldest brother. But the events of the 13th dance saw Jonas given a chance to become his own person and start his own life. Distinguishing himself first as a warrior and then as a tactician, the Dracul main branch took notice of him during the events of the final battle and as a reward he was given the right to become a Dhampir and begin his own line, taking the name Flinn as his clan name. Following the dance Jonas took note of the injustice that many afflicted with vampirism and lycanthropy suffered in Vail along with the degradation many of the clans lost outside of Avalon had fallen to over the long years the dance took place. Setting out originally with several others from Dracul he would find that not all clans outside of Avalon wished to return to the flock as it were and not all people would give him the chance. 
Since leaving Avalon all those years ago he has established The Silver Swords, an order of Blood Hunters bent on protecting the tenuous peace that exists between the creatures of the night and the rest of The Vailforge Republic. Trained as Ghostslayer Blood Hunter, Jonas is at constant odds with many of the other Blood Hunter orders of Vail, some claiming to have been usurped by The Silver Swords creed of "protecting the balance" and those orders that have broken away believing that he and the Swords are no more than the pawns of the Dracul or that he is holding them back from completing their duty to end all evil by any means.
