The Widow Makers

The Widow Makers are best known for their work as elite body guards. While The Knights of the Burning Hands are definitely the poster children for public security and the defense of the Republic, the Widow Makers represent the best in private security money can buy and mostly handle things on a civil level, a form of private police, got to love that capitalism. Consisting of Fighters of all kind they also mainly employ Inquisitive, Mastermind, and Swashbuckler Rouges, though they have never been against bringing in "reformed" criminals to help in security sweeps. For this reason alone it is believed that they have ties to the Thieves guilds of Red Gate. They also employ a number of monks of all disciplines to act as unassuming or "plains cloths" agents for VIPs and other body guard works. Ranked third among The Vailforge Legions guilds they are often given a hard time by the other guilds because of their focus on profit and reputation for getting the job done over the good of the common people. However that focus has skyrocketed the guild to its current position, so some may argue that it was worth the less than spotless reputation among the common folk.
