Noro Stonefist

Written by Salen

Highsmith

Noro Stonefist is tall for a dwarf, almost four and a half feet tall, and weighs one hundred and eighty pounds. His long graying hair is pulled back in a long braid, threaded with tiny bits of onyx gemstones, which compliment his black eyes. He wears a simple robe adorned with symbols of tools and gears, and a massive tool belt hung at his waist when walking around his own throne room or even his city. When he goes out beyond that he wears his Dwarven Gearplate.

Excerpt from the Gear Revolution

He turned and gestured for more guards to come and take the body of the Queen. She was reverently lifted and taken back to the main hall for transport later on. Once she was gone he started walking back slowly, motioning for them to follow. "Yes I was. I built an escape ship that was kept under the castle in Gar. It was my greatest achievement back then, and when I proposed it to the King of Garon'd, he was most pleased. His son and I became fast friends and I soon programmed it to come here if anything were to happen. When he took the throne I felt like they were protected, how wrong I was. The day that the little ship showed up here at the banks of the Deep was the worst day of my very long life. The ship had only one occupant, a young child, who was bleeding quite badly. Luckily the child was put in backwards so the knife had cut the back of her neck, and soon the dwarven priests of Davalar had her on the road to recovery."

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Being over 200 years old Noro is surprisingly fit. His strength is still considerable, and with his armor its like he is young again. His endurance isn't what it used to be, the healers say he has some sort of intolerance to the stone dust he has been breathing for decades.

Specialized Equipment

Dwarven gearplate. This specialized armor designed by himself, has a gearworked arm, giving the wearer increased strength and speed with that arm.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Noro Stonefist was an up and coming Gearsmith for many years. He reached level 5 quickly, then attained level 6 when his father gave him a quest to build the dwarves something to harvest the obsidian in. Level 7 was far easier, as he only had to modify the geartracks than ran though Nagar so that they could be stopped and diverted if need be. Level 8 was his crowning achievement. He built an escape ship that was kept under the castle in Gar, and when he proposed it to the King of Garon'd, the King was most pleased. He and his son became fast friends and he soon programmed it to come to Nagar if anything were to happen. When Haran Snowmane took the throne, Noro felt like his friends were protected, how wrong he was. The day that the little ship showed up on the banks of Nagar was the worst day of his very long life. The ship had only one occupant, a young child, who was bleeding quite badly. Luckily the child was put in backwards so the knife had cut the back of her neck and not her throat. Soon the dwarven priests of Davalar had her on the road to recovery.

Education

Gearsmith Level 8 plus a degree in engineering from Mystvale Institute of Learning in Everloom.
