Starilaskur County
Represented by the staunchly Utopian Lord Ruken ir'Clarn in parliament, his county's Countships are mostly held by representative leaders of various peasant communities, whose origins come from rebelling against the nobles of Glyphstone Keep in the days of the City-State of Wroat. This left them vulnerable to Wroats later conquests that would create Breland but meant that they have retained a fiercely independent and democratic spirit. Lord Ruken ir'Clarn, has not moved to the Communalist party, believing that his supporters will tell him when to change his allegiances, but it was some of his earliest speeches which mixed his harsh critique of the feudal/mercantile system with a similar heat of rhetoric against the monarchy themselves, this anger he has tempered since the emergence of terrorist organizations like the Swords of Liberty.
