The Bone Shop

The Bone Shop is a "general" store in Cloverville run by the ghostly Ferret "Old Man Jones" Jones. Ferret has had a fascination with making art out of bones since the death of his wife at the hands of the Cloverwood and often sells it in his shop. He usually helps himself to bones from the crypt beneith Cloverville Temple when they gather at night to secretly worship Shar, goddess of darkness.

Purpose / Function

To provide a place for the citizens of Cloverville to purchase everything they need day-to-day. It also acts as a platform for Ferret to sell his macabre bone art.

Architecture

The Bone Shop is a two-story gothic-looking building that almost always has the curtains closed. The sign that hangs above the door is made of pale wood and shaped like a skeleton's arm that reads "The Bone Shop". Inside on the ground floor are shelves of generic goods mixed with bizarre bone sculptures along with the counter, behind which Ferret spends most of his time whittling away at chunks of bone. The top floor is where Ferret lives and sleeps, and is also where he stores his larger pieces.

Defenses

Ferret used to be an accomplished Ruthorian trained in the longsword, but his skills have long escaped him.

• Small bone sculptures for 1 Sp a pop. Some examples are a small dog, a round little bird, a skull amulet, a pompous elf with an arrow in his back, a small knife, etc.
