Setting Up
This summer camp is my 3rd one and every year I achieve the copper badge which is what I most likely will achieve. I also might be working on something else during July so yeah. The world I might be focusing on during this years summer camp will be this world since it’s what I’m most passionate about at the moment. All I’ve written about is a few things surrounding the civilians and the military which has had a major role in shaping the world for the better or for the worse accidentally. I haven’t truly focused on how they go around the rules that have been set in place by the government due to the military. Hopefully the prompts will help with doing that and fill the world with much needed life and culture.Power
I’ve already talked a little bit about the military but there’s also the government of course. There could also be the rich or the leaders of some businesses that are trying to help the citizens that I’ve been thinking about recently.Frontier
I’m having a hard time coming up with an idea for Frontier in this world so I’m thinking of switching to Ilthci for this theme since I feel like it has more opportunityfor a socioeconomic frontier where the working class and the lower class used to be spilt between certain groups of people. It’s still happening today in some regions. For that I might need to write how they got to that point to help better understand the time period back then. If I do think of anything for this world them I’ll gladly do it.Relics
This one poses an interesting challenge since I don’t really know the history of the word. I know that the military became hostile during the industrial era but that’s it. Maybe I could use the first spaceship they built as a relic of the first formidable military vehicle. I have an idea for the world of Ilthci. Ever since the Warlord took power a lot of people tried to make changes in how the laws favored other people above others. There could be people that aren’t that well known that played an important part during that time or someone that was good at hiding something. I’m gonna have to wait and see what the prompts are going to be like.Communication
This theme I’m actually excited for. There’s a lot of things I could do with this and the first thing is fleshing out how the Cédai finds out about what the military is up to which is an important thing that’s been lacking. I’ve always known that they know about the military’s actions but never really thought about how. I also have a code language that’s I’ve made from scratch that’s been abandoned which could be expanded on. It’s mainly used by writers and historians who put a hidden message in one of their books. The most famous one who use said language is Elmes Dewstone who likes to write about the truth of their history but gets backlash for doing that. Progress
