Ramulai
Ramulai, nestled in the shadow of the towering Kneeling Mountains, stands as a testament to the rapid changes wrought by Hazlik's will. This newly minted settlement, emerging seemingly overnight after the tumultuous events of the Grand Conjunction, bears the unmistakable mark of Hazlik's influence. The buildings, crafted from seamless stone, rise in austere splendor, while the roads, etched into the very bedrock, weave intricate and bewildering patterns that confound even the most seasoned spellcasters.
Surrounded by a formidable stone wall punctuated only by a colossal gate, Ramulai appears grandiose and imposing, its size far surpassing the modest population it houses. Many of its structures stand empty, their purpose yet to be revealed, lending an air of mystery to the burgeoning city.
Industry & Trade
Despite its nascent status, Ramulai buzzes with industrious activity, fueled by the establishment of the Red Academy and nearby mines yielding precious elements coveted by Hazlik's apprentices for their magical experiments. Alchemical refineries and perilous laboratories dot the landscape, their chimneys belching thick, sparkling smog that shrouds the village in a choking haze.
Geography
The Burning River, so named for the fiery hues that dance upon its polluted surface, snakes through Ramulai, carrying with it the toxic byproducts of industry. Regular ignitions turn the river into a mesmerizing spectacle of colored flames, while the noxious fumes sicken the inhabitants of the village and warp the very fabric of the surrounding wilderness.
The land surrounding the Burning River has been transformed into the inhospitable quagmire known as the Brew, where mutated wildlife roam amidst the sickly mire. Yet, despite the environmental degradation and the toll on its people, Ramulai remains a beacon of Hazlik 's ambition, a nexus of magical experimentation and industrial progress in the heart of Hazlan.
