Geography

This region is classified by Tesdja cliffs that run the length of what they would call their homes, sharp peaks running along the middle, and duller sides eventually bleeding into other land. The majority of inhabitants live in the cavernous expanse underneath the surface, though not few have chosen to live in the peaks of the mountains.

Landmarks

Most notably, there is a volcano, named Cracked Maw that sees infrequent eruptions, but is close to due for the next, as well as an inlet -named Faberi- flowing from the north that acts as a stream of salt water towards Elata.

Towns

Elata and Gillia, are the two major cities of the region and will be the ones covered the most. Gillia is a center of manufacturing and forgeworks, headed by a clan of dwarves known as the Marblebreakers, who oversee production. Elata sitson the inlet Faberi with a unique system of drinking the blood of livestock to survive, as the salt water and plants growing on it are both toxic to humanoids.

Culture

All culture in the region bleeds off of Andymtes, and as such much already stated holds true. The Notable differences are The Gilians boasting a strong Dwarvish spirit that sees them excell in their endavors, as well as partake in many festivals to boast their skills. Elata is a more reserved commnuity, many of those seeing quite reflection preferrable to speaking, they are defined most easily by wordless acts of gratitude that are expected of each other.

Government

There is no presiding government over this region, instead each chooses their own manner of separatism. Elata elects a mayor to run their town every 10 years who is decided directly from the town's population. Gilia is run by the guild The Marblebreakers, who are currently the largest in the town, though their hold is not absolute.

Food and Art

Gillia has the expected traditions of a predominantly dwarven establishment, with an emphasis on the mastery of crafts, as well as
their preferred form of expression being beard braiding, with people troubled with the growth in facial hair preferring to braid head hair, or pieces of cloth to hang on their doors. Their diet consists of stews and roasts, of whatever meat they can get their hands on, and very little greens to speak of.

Elata has a very unique take on food, mostly using the meat of their blood livestock and rice as supplements to their mostly liquid diet. Black pudding is a common favorite, though fresh blood is seen in a similar way to fruit in a more conventional setting. Their art is mostly showcased in their infrastructure, with elaborate pieces on walkways and ornate fences that are made to show respect to their livestock.

Religion

The majority of people outside of Elata worship New Involucratisim, which is discussed [Here]. Elata additionally believes in the sacred acts of most animals, and treats animals as they would people, hosting birthday parties, coming of age ceremonies, and a farewell ceremony before their harvest, as a sign of respect of the animal’s life.
