Aleussi
Aleussi is the last of the native states from the Arrow Isle to still exist, with most having been dissolved as a result of the Aleussi Concord in 975 DC. Aleussi works alongisde the Natranus Protectorate, performing all administration duties for the native settlements that are considered fit for integration into Natranus, or those who willingly work alongside the colonisers. Those that exist outside the administration of either group are oft believed to be part of the Emerald Conclave. Aleussi formally exists as a clan, and has done so since even before the Decline began, during the time where Thundertross ruled Kasetia as his own re-imagining of Ostoria.
Culture
Many people of Aleussi still hold on to the notion that they should be an entirely free people, a fact that leads to both the occasional uprising and act of suppression by the oppressors of the land. This leaves their peoples quite divided, with some vouching for integration and some oppossing. An increasingly common trait among the Tura of Aleussi is to take Chundan names, though this is sometimes seen as distateful to the native Tura.

History
The Aleussi clan was founded by the descendants of the first settlers who came to the Arrow Isle prior to the Decline. These settlers were not formally known as the Aleussi, with it simply being a family name. The original Aleussi family founded the Emerald Conclave, who in turn provided protection to the subsequent generations of settlers growing up on the isle. With the members of the Conclave aging at a severely reduced rate, the Aleussi family provided assistance for over a hundred years, with the original Aleussi dying in -529. The second generation of the Aleussi decided to move away from the Conclave, and became leaders ingrained in the burgeoning community of the Arrow Isle. It was here that the Aleussi clan was formally adopted as the name for the state. Many other clans have rose and fall, but the most everlasting remains Aleussi.
