Chaldain Circle of Druids
The Chaldain Circle of Druids is a druidic circle located in Kasetias northwest, centered around one of the few remaining world trees. Chaldain is based out of Chaldainra, though their presence can be found far wider than just in that settlement. The circles leader, Kalpana, is a member of the Chankrat Union.
Structure
The circle functions entirely as a gerontocracy, with the groups leader being the most wizened and eldest of the group at the time. With druids naturally aging slower, this helps to ensure the circle has a wise leader at all times.
The leader has the only named title in the entire circle, being coined the 'High Elder.'

Culture
Chaldain have long been focused on harmoneous function alongside the world they live on. Most members seek to preserve the natural elements of the world, but the level of which members tolerate built society does vary between people. Chaldain is also unique in that it exists on an almost entirely communal market/ barter based system of economy.
Chaldain members who are druids are mainly part of the Shephardic or Land in regards to druidic practice. While they do accept other forms of druids, they have a distate for the more 'soloist' forms of druidic practice.

Chaldain seeks to ensure the binds that force man, beast and nature together are preserved and that none should never exert its force in such a way that it harms the other in a substantial fashion.
History
Prior to the Chaldain Circles existence, druids living in the area of Chankrat had lived a somewhat standard semi-independent form of living where members would meet occasionally and discuss changes that had occured. This remained commonplace from the time the first settlers had arrived in Chankrat and would remain so until the circle was found.
After the Year of Restless Sands in 199 and the intense sandstorms that came with it, the existence of the world tree in Chankrat seemed threatened. Through long deliberation, culmininating in the year 275 - it seemed fitting that the druids of the region would break standard druidic tradition and create an organisation to care for the lands and the creatures that inhabit it.
