Clan Klinhammer

Clan Klinhammer is a clan of dwarves that were debased from their homeland in Tila'thyu during 998 DC and forced to migrate across to Kasetia. The remnants of the once powerful clan live in Varrimore, running the Cliffwatch Inn and Kadrik's Kiln.
Before their dissapearance, the clan was renowned by other dwarves of the continent for their smithing ability.

Structure

The clans leader is currently Begran Klinhammer, son of the former leader Gimgren Klinhammer. Next in line for the position is Kadrik Klinhammer, son of Gimgren and brother to Begran. 
While the clan leader was originally based on those directly related to their original founder, the loss of countless dwarves during their trek across the Underdark changed this and they now use an elective process to determine the heir to the Clanlord. Upon death of the current leader, the successor holds a vote to determine who should follow next. 
Most titles have been dissolved, with only the Clanlord and the Master Blacksmith remaining.
